Frans, I wanna know how it really works in the tree. I am assuming much of the coating will wear off quickly, but that's no big deal.

Is it good ol' rope?

Tom Daley sent some rope to me. As soon as I get it I can try it out, too. That will be 3 people (snarf, tod k, and myself) that can give some feed back on how it works.

Frans- how'd that thing work out for you. I made one last week that was identical to the one I made you....and I like it. I've done a few trees with it and purposely descended super quick out of them. The technora looks dirty, but not damaged.

I had to play around with the hitch a little to make it work. I was first using a 4/3 VT, but that wasn't grabbing sometimes, so I switched to a 4/3 XT and that seems to be working much better.

Can someone post a link on the instructions for a double brummel. Its been awhile and I just cant recall exactly how to do it. Thanks
