    The tree definitely came down shorter and MORE IMPORTANTLY.... much softer. When you drop dead ash like that with standard falling cuts, they explode into a million pieces... makes it much harder to pick each one and get them into the chipper.. Most of the smaller limbs sayed intact after impact..
