    Read the title the wrong way and selected hand ascender instead of chest harness. I use an old hand ascender (only because I already have one) for my knee ascender. It has a bungee chord attached to the top which attaches to my chest harness biner and always stays attached there.

    What Causes Milking

    I've seen some ropes milk more than others. I think a large factor of milking depends on the rope itself, and if splicing was done. When an end is spliced the rope needs to be milked to make a decent splice. Some companies do a better job at this than others.

    RAD vs Grillon
