    The 462 is my favorite saw, it rips like crazy with a 25” through anything, and is just as light as the 362. It’s my go to for the crane now, and, because I am a huge nerd, I nicknamed mine Gram.

    Chips and clean logs for me. Three brush dumps down here are up to $25/yd. One other business owner here told me he is seriously buying land. He dumps multiple clamp loads a day and he got quoted $750 per load today.

    I started developing a radar for hairbrains after a lot of that crap. I maintain a friendly and accommodating attitude, but my prices silently creep up quickly when people start treating me like a tree genie. I’m a wizard, not a genie... and nothing in this world is free.

    We did the same for our wedding invitations, the smaller diameter walnut didn’t check. Probably has to do with lumin density and lumin size for the species. We did some out of Ash, and they checked. Definite correlation when you consider species mass.

    Did you purchase? A few on here mentioned a 3/4 ton truck and trailer. That’s what I started with, an 01’ F250 with the 7.3. It was already modified when I got it, output chip and beefier transmission. I eventually put really big aftermarket springs in it, so now it never hits the overloads...

    Regulations have changed so that certain industries no longer have to burn biomass? Huge reduction in secondary market for tree material? Can anyone confirm or elaborate on this? I was hoping to buy a grapple truck, but it looks like I’m late to the party. What next?
