    If youre 359 is still running good I'd go for something big. 385/390 &394/395 for husky or 066/660/661 for stihl. Dolmar 7300 and 7900 are great but finding parts is getting tough.

That way you can stay competitive on the small easy jobs and not work as hard or spend as much time shuttling equipment.     Are you an employee or self employed? There's definitely a ceiling as an employee in a lot of companies. As an owner - operator the ball is in your court and you can make it whatever you want it to be.

    Free float is superior for dragging brush. I don't have experience with a wheel loader but on mini skid and mini ex it's very easy to manipulate the grapple for what you need it to do, I can't imagine an articulated loader being much different.

    If you hold a stihl and echo bar up together you'll see where to drill. I'll try and snap a pic if i remember. I'd recommend a drill press, chainsaw bars are pretty hard and will smoke a drill bit if you're not careful

    You need to drill the adjuster hole about 3/4-1" forward. Same as a 2511. You can also add drive links to the chain but I've always drilled them so I can buy chains off the shelf

    Yep, Samson has great instructions. Brummels are a little weaker than straight buries but have some advantages as well. from what I understand some of the high modulus fibers can self abrade so that may be a factor as well.     I believe they call them high modulus fibers, ie uhmpe, aramid, etc. They're 'slippery' compared to polyester and nylon hence the longer buries

    I think it can be less accurate, especially when getting into bigger saws and more weight/fatigue. Horizontal/gunning cut first and just get the saw in the wood and hold the weight. It is easier to get cuts lined up for the most part and is a good way to introduce someone to felling cuts...
