    That capstan is a DP winch - way expensive - like dealer cost $2600 I always imagined a Bucket truck graveyard where there are 100's of them just wasting away on old booms

    I always liked capstans - Capturing old bullrope midline, seemed faster than paying out wire rope easy enough to put the ramsey on the removable brackets I made for the BMG

    Front-Seated Articulating Loader vs. Rear-Seated

    You get used to ride on the front axle models. Ask any owner, you get used to it, no problem. Articulating is the Key, you can't help but love one, what ever brand. Ride on the rear style have tighter turning radius, no problems driving along fence's, walls, Bldgs, etc

    Most guys report shearing the locking pin - and tearing up the grapple because of the incredible leverage you can put on the V grap with a locked in place long ass log. It has some advantages but it don't feed a Chipper as well without a Universal joint between the hanger and the grapple
