Mini Loader Attachments

I still have some pin on brackets -- just the ticket for that winch
Interesting. Looks like I’m in for a much bigger project than I anticipated. Any advice on how to fix this?828DD9DC-A4D5-49C8-AD72-95C1CE0F7505.webp
Also the next piece with the “king pin” is all out of whack too

Thats a first :sorprendido3: in 20 years
what the . . did you hit?
That deserve's an award
email me I will send you 2 plates asap N/C
Well, I didn’t exactly hit anything... but I am very proud of my self for being so creative! I used a fulcrum to pop up the root ball of a uprooted tree. It was putting down pressure on the end of a 15’ uprooted staub, one root popped and shifted the grapple hard to the side. The fab shop, already fixed it, as they needed the BMG to make the winch Mount. I literally tweaked it the same day I was to drop it off! It also tweaked the u shaped piece (the one that mounts to the dawgs).

Then somehow on the same job the hydraulic cylinder nut fell off too!

I bought mine with a big light materials bucket, small thicker gauge bucket, forks, auger, “land leveler”, and a 42” tiller. I added a BMG grapple shortly after. Already had a hitch receiver, and a custom bollard.

Most used is BMG, buckets (both), land leveler (personal use for driveway, then forks. Still haven’t used the auger or tiller. Not to mention the hitch receiver does get used when the BMG isn’t on the machine (which it is 95% of the time).

Just arrived on the door step. A 4K winch with 150-170’ per min line speeds. This will bolt onto the BMG, but also have a receiver option.

Funny thing is the chip truck is stuck in the mud, and I have the winch I need in a box 75’ away from the truck. Just need to fab the mounting!! Grrrr
where did you get the winch that fits onto the BMG?

I am bout to purchase my first loader, and would like thoughts on which attachments to get. First, I am thinking of the BMG, unless someone thinks some other log grab is better. Second, I would like thoughts on what other attachment to buy. I do mainly small residential work, with some work on 2-3 acre lots. Sometimes people want their old brush piles gotten rid of and so forth. Bucket grapple, root grapple...what do y'all think? Thanks!

I think another thing to consider is the size of plate that will be on whatever loader you purchase. Is it a mini universal, an MT bobcat, a universal, etc. Personally, I run a GIANT 254t and have adapted by BMG to an MT Bobcat so that I can attach to any skid steer attachment. Just something to think about as you're looking at all the different attachment options.

I've had my BMG, Scoops, and Rake 8 years now. The rake needs new bristles and some straightening, Scoops used and abused but still kicking and work great, BMG battle scarred but still rocking it daily. 48" tooth bucket and 48"1/3 yard straight edge bucket.

BMG and Scoops are a must IMO.
what do you use the scoops for?

Cleaning up stump piles, grabbing the raking piles of unchippable, and grabbing piles of twigs for the chipper that are too short or small for the BMG. With practice you can scoop up nearly every little twiglet.

Well worth it. They are smaller and lighter than a bucket or grapple bucket and offer a speck more dumping height over a bucket.
I have used them to dismantle snow banks in the winter for access. I have spread compost in whole yard top dressing gigs.

Is this grapple available ?
Is this this a bmg
I think the answer is:
Yes its available
AND
No it's not a BMG but we took their design and we feel that we improved upon it.. Or at least that's the non slimy used car salesman approach. Instead of saying that the add on components of the design we copied work or might work with out copied design that is NOT a BMG.
