    Splices v Sewn - eye2eye prusik cords - Debate

done be so defensive bro! i was just saying that machine stitching should not be able to be cut easily at all-theres a stitching machine where i splice so i see quite a bit of it.ive hand stitched for myself but would never consider selling it to anyone, for me theres too much chance of it not...

    Splices v Sewn - eye2eye prusik cords - Debate

it should be impossible to cut the stitching with one swipe-once you remove the cover strands you see the internal stitching and there is now way i can see how youd cut it bro or at least cut it any easier than plain cutting the rope. and hand stitching would be exact the same surely?

    heli work

okay its not super stretchy and the pieces your cutting are way way below its breaking strain. if the piece is anywhere nr heavy enough to break the rope the heli would know and instantkly drop the piece. Native bush is precious and the customers didnt want it damaged. Based in NZ. lots of...

    heli work

hey bro. it was 4 climbers in 4 different pines all above native bush that could not be damaged. using the heli was probably the only feasable of doing the job at all. 3 strand strops are used as a-you need heaps of them as the trees are prestropped the day before, b- the stretch absorbs any...
