    By the lift you mean the hoist? If the hoist is only 26k then you’re going to have problems. Mine was specked at 24ton hoist.

    I like epicord much more for a primary hitch cause it binds up less. I still use beeline for my lanyard.

    Life expectancy of drum bearings

    Howdy, I have a woodsman 15x with 1750 hours on it. How many hours should I expect to get out o of these bearings? I averaged about 1800 on my bandit disc chipper. I’m probably going to swap them out this winter regardless so I don’t have to deal with a problem during the spring.

    Truck was put together in 2013 but was manufactured in 2011. Has 61k miles and starts and drives fine. Heavy on the front end but the front springs were beefed up. Chip box is 60” high and 13.5’ long. Gvw is 23000 It was a six cylinder Volvo diesel and five speed allison. Asking $23,000

    Take an empty bottle of pills, put three pills in it and shake it out the window. The climbers will come running.

    Depends on what your overhead had increased. My w/c jumped 11 percent in one year so I’d figure that as well as fuel prices and other overhead.

    If your exhaust manifolds are rotten your turbo won’t spool up properly.

    I towed a 8k chipper and a 14’ box with a 2200rds for years. No problems. I changed the trans oil at 40k miles and it looked fine. No metal in the filter magnet.

    Got everything working correctly. The new autofeed seems to help with the bogging issues but still gets bogged down once in a while when we put a big top in.

    Their manual has nothing to address that issue. Its seems its a stock digital tach used in many different "applications". I have to wait to monday to call landmark. Our other chipper had a bearing go yesterday while we had this one out of service to try to figure stuff out.

    I have a woodsman 15x and have recently replaced the autofeed computer with a LOR PDX-X. We had to wire it all up and I can't figure out why that when we start up the chipper and it is at idle the feed wheels turn. There should be a signal sent to the valve telling it to stop. anyone know?
