High winds last week blew large ice pan against the steel pilings underpinning this dock......bent them enough that the tenons on the posts were getting leveraged out of their pockets in the timbers supporting the roof. Bad.
Used two gas capstan winches and a honking big 12V winch. Lotsa MA...
Dropped a tree on my old chuck and duck once. Tree was a a bit taller than it appeared.
Chipper hopped about two feet off ground. Only significant damage was a smallish crack in the drum housing...for which I received a $6000 repair estimate from the dealer. A friend of a friend welded it up...
Price of $225 sounds good, and you can likely have a lot of fun with that machine.
eBay prices for sewing machines are often ludicrous, with an added insult of crazy shipping charges.
I came dangerously close to splurging on a Juki cylinder machine a few years ago, but didn't because the queen...
Princess Auto in Canada also copied LogRite's trolley...and their masterpiece sucks.
Sad to see companies decide to blatantly copy someone else's product, and simply produce an inferior knockoff instead of at least refining and improving the original innovation.

I can see it being useful / practical only mebbe 1X or 2X a year when negative blocking a spar located in a tricky spot, eg. middle of a raised deck adjacent to a cottage, with no adjacent trees. Just to save cutting and throwing a bunch of cookies when the remaining height of spar makes...
