    The braidless hitch just 5 or 6 wraps up seems to do the trick. I have not had trouble with it binding, more trouble on the others idea getting it to grab. Granted. The sitback is a bit more than the HH.

    I think setting further away from the rope compensates for that as it helps force it loose going up

    I love the Hitch Runner. The OG works amazing, but it is a little tricky to install the Hitch cord. The Vertec installs amazing but needs a custom hitchcord. Cutting off the bird also makes it useless if you want to go back mechanical. But that is all you have to do, is cut off the...

    My grandfather was an engineer at the Canton paper mill in the 50s. He was fired when he started suggesting they try to do a little to not kill ALL the fish in the Pigeon River. When I read the word canton, I can smell it.

    Don't say news and Fox in the same sentence. It's amazing how there can exist such drastically different definitions of what "news" is. I don't see any news there, much less actual news. Lots of opinions we have a lot of those here and it is interesting to hear more, but calling it news...

    Consider it? I'd bet there are more imported arborists than domestic ones for at least the last 40 years. I learned a good deal of my climbing from imported arborists in 96.

    It's first 3/4 of life it was kept indoors during the winter in Marquette in the UP and not used much as the season shuts down uo there. . It was used here through a few winters. Doesn't have much rust.
