Good work, sometimes white pine are hard to balance, the branches are brittle, this leaves the rigging to the main stem. If the branches are relatively balanced around the stem then using 2 slings opposite to each other on stem will lift it straight and even.
Don't have a TM, but I put some cheap ($50 I think) Buckingham suspenders on my Glide 2 and it helped a lot, donuts and bacon just didn't have the same effect.

If I were the one looking i'd spend more time checking out the national on the sterling. It's not pretty like the altec but I think it would work better.
A good idea of who you're buying from is half the battle. Do you have a crane mechanic that you trust to look at it for you?
