    CRANE!! AM I DREAMING?

That means for sure it meets American regulations, you will have to pay some fees and taxes to cross the border. If you want I can give you the info for...

    Double gaff spurs

That guy in the first picture looks like a total amateur, has nothing to do with the spurs he's wearing, I bet with those fancy spurs the guy would look just as goofy.

Nice, I went with 12"x 3/8", now the truck is so tall to drive down the road that I'm always paranoid that i'll pull down wires.

    Another NY Fatality

That's true, short blocks of wood are not a good idea, I remember as a teenager I was sent out with a guy to drag brush for him to chip. Towards the end of a long day as I was bringing over one of the last piles I saw him pick up a small stub block 4-5" x 5" long, he tossed it in and like a...

    Another NY Fatality

I'd like to know the statistics on the chuck n' duck style chippers, although they seem more dangerous I bet they're much safer than mechanically feed.

crane flips in Chester County pa

What's your experience with a crane? One of climbers I work with rarely breaks a sweat and usually smokes a cigarette between lifts, that falls under the calm and relaxed category to me.
