To much frame is easy! easier to shorten wheel base and shorten frame than stretch it do your calculations and make sure weight won't be an issue one In doubt just shorten it and do it right

Yellow one is the one on my grapple truck black one is one for a guy I just built a grapple truck for steel is t1 and a-36 and a513 only issue with t1 is preheat requirements make it kind of a pain but have been using yellow one for over 2 years with no issues
Pretty much if they pull you over and they want to give you a ticket they will find some thing might as well make it easy and leave a light burnt out:)
Tristate, so by all your lifts being "inspected" "Certified"your talking about replacing rods and drive cables and leveling cables on alc booms? Once there out of date? Per manufactures scheduled maintance? I'm only familiar with alc booms but I'm sure all brands have some rather expensive work...
We can off load how ever I sort big wood out at my lot, if dumping there, as we sell logs for lumber and fire wood.
With a cab mount you still have to get up on loader set Down out riggers swing loader over cab, lift out riggers open back door dump lower bed close door get up on loader stow...
Yes thoes are all benefits to rear mount trying to see what benefits treevet sees with cab mount loaders as I don't have any that come to mind with a cab mount

Please List your reasons for a cab mount grapple truck, I can not think of any benefits other than dumping which I don't see as being a benefit really, being I have a rear mount id like to hear your reason for cab mount, thanks!
Haha I just fill in slow tree work times with truck building weekends are with the girl friend during the week I just work as long as I want works out pretty well
