I've seen that the monkey beaver belt has straps that tighten the leg pads around your leg to keep them in place. Sounds like a great idea and I'm guessing very functional
I let my leg straps hang down to the back of my knees just about. It seems to be working pretty good at keeping the nuts from getting the squeeze. Still happens once in a while but not very often at all

We tried that long ago. Something didn't work out about it. If you don't have a real long way to go, you can hold pressure on the grapple with the foot petal as well.
I should add that if the few extra inches aren't an issue for you, you should get the wide track option. We run a narrow track and it's real bouncy when turning on pavement. I think the wide track would maybe do a bit better
We run a 650 and a 755. I believe the 755 is the only turbo diesel out of the few you mentioned and that's a big difference. We have had no problems with our 755. The joystick control isn't quite as responsive as the older style (one lever for each side) but that's just me. It's a great...
