    I just sanded the small grooves off on flywheel and put back together.. it ran better. Could get up to half throttle but then die.. You can here a skip too.. So definitely coil or flywheel or both I am thinking.

    So took flywheel off and looks like the aluminum nub is like not the thickness it should be. Like flywheel was on to tight or something. And one side of the magnet is like warped. Anyone have one of these laying around ? New is 185.00.

    So I buy alot of saws on ebay and repair them and never ran into this problem ever. 2013 Husqvarna 395xp. Guy stated it will run but not rev. Before I put any parts on it, this is what it did. Cold start, choke it 2-3 pulls half start. Turn choke off, starts and idles fine like it should...

    There is alot of aftermarket pistons out there but I don't care for them. Oem seems to last the longest. Meteor doesn't make a piston for them yet.. otherwise I'd go that route. I usually buy the complete cylinder and piston kit. But I only need piston this time. I'll check treestuff then...
