It's possible, but I think it's safe to guess he is the fall guy. The players that have the most to gain from all the global chaos are the real big money players. We are only familiar with a handful of the richest and most powerful players globally, and it's been a long while now that the strategy has been to throw money at both teams; bet on both sides so that they win no matter what. The media, mainstream or otherwise, never talk about what the 2000 other billionaires are doing. I think that all the politicians are set up to draw attention away from the bigger power players with the serious money. "Money" is pulling the strings moreso than any one player, but I think that they are ok with just letting the psycho out of the cage, as the investment class make more money from chaos than from stability. Market volatility means a greater difference between highs and lows, thereby increasing the potential for greater profits in this quarter and the next, and fuck everything else.
The puppet masters don't steer in precise micro movements, but rather they make the weather that the ships visible captain must navigate. Drumpf did not create the situation that allowed him to rise to power, and just getting rid of him won't solve most of the problems we face, although I bet it would be a positive step forward.
Ultimately, there are much bigger forces at play here, and this current regime in the Whitehouse is just one branch of the tree that needs to be cut down before it smashes our house.
