No, it's just you. Jack Smith looked like someone who has the future of our country (and much of the world) on his shoulders for, if he fails, you're gonna miss freedom--and the protections that the FBI and DOJ bring you--more than you know.

Why are you so full of hate as to become blind to trump's crimes, and his stated intentions to do it all again if reelected? Are you aware that many republicans are actually impressed with what Biden is accomplishing, to the point where they take credit for what's he's done after voting against it?

You want a president who threatens people who disagree with him? In my book, that's plain ignorance.

I’m not comfortable with it, but I am resigned to it. Hard to take this stuff seriously. Just a nakedly political prosecution. As usual, Trump is guilty of being an insufferable ass, but this is nuts.

BTW @JCB, no hate here. I’m happy as a clam except for when I watch the news. Then it’s either Trump or Biden, both depressing in their own way.

Here's an idea Buck.. Instead of wasting your time here you could dust off your law degree, donate your legal services to Trump, and use your "he is guilty of nothing more than being an insufferable ass" defense. That should easily clear Donny of the dozens of felonies he's been charged with in multiple jurisdictions. Sadly you are a little too late help Donny with his E. Jean Carroll problem because a jury of his peers has already found him culpable/liable for sexual abuse/assault. Much like getting blasted by a skunk the stench of that is tough to wash off, so I sure hope none of it rubs off on ya...

Because everyone deserves a chance to defend themselves. I have no doubt that he’s guilty, but he has to be shown to be guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt so that there is a system by which everyone can see for themselves that he really is guilty. If there is corruption in the process, that should become self evident with enough time. He is having an example made of him, not because he was a republican, but because of the egregious offenses to the whole country and the process that is being used to hold him accountable. It must be known to all who come after this, that that level of fuckery WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
 
Well, I like kangaroo courts as much as the next guy, so ok. I guess we'll see how that nailbiter turns out.

I'm really starting to feel like this forum thread won't reach its full potential unless Trump is re-elected.

Nope. It's a good reminder of how close the election actually was, though. Biden won by about 120,000 votes across four states - specifically four cities (Atlanta GA being one of them) with questionable changes in election practices going on due to covid. I think the margin in GA was 10-12k votes. I see no issues in questioning the results and no issues with the call's contents. Democrats would have made the same call under similar circumstances, but you would have never heard about it.

I'm looking forward to the partisan prosecution by the GA DA. More garbage for the pile. It's not affecting his support which is the point of these cases - they are trying to whittle away his support before the election. It's not working - in fact it seems to be increasing his support among independents who will decide the next election. It won't be decided by partisans on the left and right - those folks will vote for whomever they are told to vote for.

Not that I care, but what reality did I deny? There are so many liars involved with this stuff there will never be any sort of truth if that's what you are looking for. It's all just politics.
