Brocky's knut h is a badass hitch. I've gone back to it myself after using a straight valdotain for a while. I've also realised that I now have too many multicenders, and too many ropes, hitches, hitchcords, combos... in the sense that I keep switching between them and I am not getting the full experience of any one device on any one rope combo. I have found that the hh2 hitch used will act significantly different depending on how worn the hitch cord and rope is. I know thats probably really basic to many people, but I had to realise for myself that the setup I developed with a brand new rope and old hitchcord wasn't working so well with the new cord, or vice versa. I think it is much more sensitive to this than a mrt system.
In the spirit of continually trying new things before perfecting the old ones, I will be trying a michoacan on the hh2. It kinda blows my mind that no one has posted about trying that yet. It works just fine in my living room. Too much bucket truck work lately, but I should get some climbing in wednesday and thursday. Maybe even friday.
