Edit, 3-29-2018: I almost missed the fact that there is a second page of DMM products listed beyond this one, including the Hitch Climber pulleys, so be sure to look at that, too. I'm not sure how long this sale is supposed to last. I haven't noticed an expiration date yet.

2nd edit: I just had a notification pop up when I was on the website that said this sale is good for only today 3-29 and tomorrow 3-30, I believe. The notice was an hour old at 2:40 pm on 3-29-2018.

Hmm, looks like bartlettman only has the Hook by itself -- Is there a preferred rope to pair with it? Right now I only have 1/2" climbing lines, which seems a bit large for the Hook.

Edit: Annnnnd order placed hook + hitch climber on their way!

I've got the 10mm Sirius that comes with the kit and it works really well. Just not sure where you can get some. I'd vote something in that size range

Hmm.... Sterling HTP Static is available in 9 or 10mm... Wesspur has a Samson Static Kernmantle in 9mm... perhaps one of those would be reasonable

Both are really good static lines. I like kernmaster. it has the best hand and does not cable up. It is also pretty light for how strong it is.

I like supple line for the Hook, if you can't find 10mm Reep Schnur I'm thinking any of the 10mm hitch cordage would be excellent, pricey per foot but maybe with some looking around you could find something decent per foot. Also would be spliceable.

Hmm, if you like supple what about something like Yale Blaze? 11mm instead of 10mm, but I have a lanyard made of Blaze that's pretty easy to work with and it's real cheap by the foot.
