Hipsters just found us

"I find watching videos of people who actually work for a living, doing work, to be very meditative."

Where did this quote come from? I'm looking at his web page on my handheld computer, and did not see this statement.

I kind of like the kid, and I can see where he's coming from. The video was beautifully shot, and the music is great; a deliberately inspiring piece of music.

The vantage point of a climbing arborist is a really impressive thing, a view of the world that most people will never get to experience themselves. The advent of the "sport" cameras, like the GoPro, and video sharing websites like YouTube, has greatly increased the chances that normal people will be able to get some sense of what it is that climbing arborists get to experience every day.

Someone needs to contact the kid and tell him about the TreeBuzz forum and the TreeHouse forum. Then the kid needs to try it for himself a bit, low and slow like everybody else that's just starting out. I think he'd love it.

Edit: Also, I'm not a religious guy, but if there is a god, I've felt closer to it when sitting in a boat on a lake on a cool, quiet morning, or in the woods, than I have ever felt when sitting in a pew, in a church.

Oh yeah, suspenders too, what type of urban tree worker is going around in suspenders? Hipster ones, that's who. Ones who say things like, "my grandfather was a logger and I am drawn to working in the outdoors." :coffe:
