Yah Steve - retaining moisture in the heartwood and no serious cracks yet.
that gave me the ring of confidence I needed to aggressively attack this one.
(still a few interesting moments tho)

yah I prefer the rollmatic E - it doesn't last as well as the normal solid stihl bar but the flex can work to your advantage and is def lighter.

The reason in part why I record this stuff is something RegC once said in one of his videos.
something along the lines of " Once you cut the tree down no one will ever get the chance to climb it again - they won't get to see the views and sights from that tree ever again"
so I document the journey and share my journey with you good folk along the way.
