Your best critter in a tree story

i found a crab about 25' up a red oak the other day. id started reading this thread and regretted no camera for proof. it was what i call a dock crab they are like fiddler crabs but tiny pincer and all brown. not sure what he was doing there but something must have enticed him up that high.
Did a bird grab him, then accidentally drop him?
 
no they climb all over the docks here on the chesapeake bay, they are only about an inch long.

a handful of snakes. I reached between a v crotch in a hackberry to pull a leaf nest out. Not thinking to much of it I just pushed the mess out the other side. I start seeing my ground guy retreating while fast stepping like a cowboy through the ivy that consumed the retired flower bed. I wonder if snake bites in trees are common
