The Olympic Flame was delivered to The Tower of London via a helicopter rappel/abseil!

The RM was using an old fashioned F8, not an up-to-date Uni or Rope Wrench though

If he had been using the RW he could have repelled with one hand and held the torch with the other.

I am glad he was able to heal from his wounds. Many are not are not that lucky.
