OK Back on track, WHAT pulley did you use on your line? Two what was the STOPPER rope tied to? Three, who many feet was the line and how long a ride (Time) was it? Four, was this covered by WC IF you missed the stopper rope?

I have more BUT I wouldn't want to come across as STUPID!!!!

I used the red Petzl Tandem aluminum pulley backed up with a prussic for the ascent. Took the back up off at the top and about shiot my pants for the 8 second ride down into the pecan tree. 200 feet


The stopper rope was attached to the zip line via fixed pulley and biner and down to the base of a small pine. It stretched more than I thought it would when I hit it.

No workers comp, no medical insurance at all to speak of but I have a good Urgent care center up the road.
 
So what was the angle of the rope? And what would you do different the NEXT time?

Trust me, I have been thinking of doing that all year. My wife keeps reminding me that people my age don't bounce ( or bounce back from injuries) like you young 'uns do!

Well....The top end was approx. 65 feet high
200 feet long to anchor at bottom about 25 feet high.

So we have 40 feet of drop over a distance of 200 feet

I have no clue
20 degrees or less?
I started to draw it out on grid paper ,the Family Guy came on and
 
wow just wow. I need to find me some nice secluded spot around here and do that. Me and Family should set something like that up.
