Stop bragging with your sexy crane picks. You might get yourself a new climber if you're not careful. Crane work makes me a happy tree man.

Nice work Steve that is a big old dude. How long?
So far have a day and a half on it. Full day for me today. Another climber half day yesterday. Iv got the top and 3 big leads left Probably a half day on it tomorrow. The little crane that could is really doing awesome with it. Still a ton of work. One of my bigger take downs in a long time. It's in awful shape. Poor ole girl.

Finished up today. The logs at the street are just limb wood. Amazing we did this with a 17t crane.
Steve awesome job on that one. Would have loved to come out and see you guys today. My girl wanted to stay put and rest up from all the traveling we've done the past couple of days. Big removals I'm used to, (well maybe not that big lol), but I have issues with walking horizontal limbs. I destroyed my hip in '92 which gives me balancing problems. I'm definitely not used to the methods demonstrated buy some of the guys on this forum. I wouldn't be very efficiently productive in limb walking or prunings. 90% of the time I'm doing removals and always wearing spikes. With the crane work on a horizontal limb I'm ready at the butt and a 2nd guy would choke off the tip then repel down. Sometimes I feel like I should hang up my saddle. The body aches a little more every year. The new saddle definitely helps with the hip though. I thank you for posting about the MCRS.

Rigging dead limbs down over the house and deck! No ground man!

Customer called me saying the reduction of the silver maple (spec of 2-3") was not worth the $500. Not to mention having to rig every piece off on the one side over the house. Went back and got paid by the pound instead!

Why the solo work? Little unsafe that way. Be careful brother! Getting hurt sucks and sucks worse when no ones around for help.
