I believe Wesspur still sells them. Another great option I have been using a lot is Samson 3/4' stable braid with an eye splice on one end for whatever clip or carabiner you choose. Its is amazingly comfortable on the hands and flips up big wood really well. Love it!
Thanks.

I like thick flip lines. Currently using 5/8" steel core with a friction hitch. Used a mechanical adjuster for years, previously.

I never want to go back to 1/2".

In all seriousness, this was a tough day for me because I was subbed out to do this pruning but I'm not sure it's the best time to be pruning pitch pines.
Sap beginning to flow, turpentine beetles I think will be active like real soon. Not sure I was doing the homeowner a service or attracting conifer beetles. The tree is well watered, root zone is not compacted, she might be alright.

No that came out of my personal bag. My truck is marked with purple for some reason. Hence the purple tape on my mic. Wind cover fell off and a finger from a glove and that color tape was all that was available. Normally not a big deal but I was climbing in 40 mph sustained winds that day.

We have been killing Ash for the last 2 weeks , hundred down now and still counting....Shit I can't wait for those pruning and cabling jobs! Had to climb this skectchy one with that scary top and make a pole before sending it by the hydro wire... was suppose to send some branch in the pulley , change my mind. Explode in 5 on the ground still 36'' Ash. New climber on the team , fun kid , nice weather , good times . Spring ain't here for now.

Cool looking grapple truck. Does the grapple come off the back to dump? Would be interested in seeing more pictures of that creation. Some nasty looking trees you got there!
