Work is at an all time Low

Their killing you with those cigs, Steve. Do you know what's in that shit? I quit 2 yrs ago and feel better everyday. Cold turkey and saved some coin as well. But I'm not going to preach.
 
Thanks Dave. Yeah I know about the cigs. I roll my own. Don't like big tobacco! Really don't smoke too much but you're rite. I should quit. Just don't want to.

So I got paid in full and the now ex boss was super cool and said some really nice things as well as thanking me for my reliability and professionalism. He left the door open if I ever want to come back. Was a very nice gesture and I appreciate it.

Now........ can't wait till Monday!!
 
Well, that's pretty much if my world falls apart but yes. I got another offer to match my pay so that is plan B if this doesn't work out. Guys are screaming for reliable help down here. Can't get a decent foreman or ground guy for miles. Climbers are a dime a dozen but clean and professional climbers with little to no baggage are very rare so it seems. I'm really excited and so is the new boss, or so he says.

Woooow..Now just wait a minute. I better be plan C or Plan D at least...
 
Gotta go west unless you have elk and big horn sheep in VT. I know you have moose and bear but I'm feeling elk in my retirement. I could def live in VT if it wasn't crazy expensive in the N.E.

I own some land and I can get elk imported in just for you to hunt. Let me know. I can get the call made this week and get this in motion. It's not super expensive in VT. You could get a nice piece of land, small house for under 200K.
 
Sounds good. I know you have mountains too. If we ski Vermont next march you'll have to catch up with us. I guess I was wrong about the market then. You don't even wanna know what I paid for mi casa and I got it on foreclosure.

Yeah Steve that's a joke man, I would only go back there if you get strung out on drugs or booze and wanna be around people you might be able to pinch your fix from.
I admire your effort and ability to not freak out on those other guys live in person on the job. Unless you have and I missed the story.
