I likes beer. But it falls under grains and herbaceous vine.(Hops)
Magners is a great quality Apple Cider and i will leave it at that. My fav woody plant beverage!http://magners.com/about-us/

You know Hops and canabis are in the same family. Always thought it would be interesting to graft hops onto canabis rootstock to see if we could produce a beer with a THC content of significance.

You all got a favorite woody plant beverage?

I will do my best to give it a try.

I have eaten my share of spruce buds. Find they are best before the skin of the bud is shed and after it has severed from its point of attachment. imo
Your Spruce beer has got me thinkin about my tastey travels.
Here in Cambridge Cornus mas is ripening and soon Rhus typhina. Both bitter in a good way.

I'd bet a bushel of Macs they would make perfectly good beers.

What else are we missin?

Ropeshield, I agree, cider is also my favorite post takedown soother. Swing down to Colorado and see the universe of thc extraction drinkables. Yummy and they lead to their own peculiar brand of swerve. Haven't had thc beer, but the sodas kick . Our mmj laws have led to all sorts cool consumables. We have more dispensaries in the city of Denver than Starbucks.

As mentioned above, birch beer is good. Hard to find these days, even in northern Maine and New Hampshire!
As far as the grafting of cannabis and hops. Yes, that has been done, but the active principle in cannabis is not very water soluble. Dilute alcohol, as in beer isn't a good solvent either. Pentane and xylene are good solvents, but not so good to drink!

I've heard mead can be made with maple syrup, never tried it tho.

But for the a more everyday drink, I am a coffee fiend. You don't want to be my ground guy if it's been a long drive to the job...more coffee=faster cutting.

Yeah, thats got to be top of the list cause its "top of the mornin".
I usaually down 1/2pot before I leave the house.
Give this a try.
Rub ground coffee onto your steaks. Adds an earthy flavour right off the bbq.

ropeshield the part of the sassafras tree they use to make the tea is the stems on the end of the branches . you have to put some in water right after you boil it and let it steep for a little while . as far as cannabis goes it is not water soluble but it is fat soluble . grind some up and cook it in butter then bake it in your favorite bake good . your body will be able to assimilate most of the thc just be ready not to do anything for that day .

There is a pizza place around me that has served birch beer on tap for years now. That is my fav out of the tree drink.
