More hair on my face then than my head now
On the trip to my first ITCC Jeff Jepson, who was the MnTCC Champ that year and I were getting to know each other. It turns out that we competed against each other in high school. Jeff worked parallel bars and I worked side horse. Jim was an all around...and brought home a chest of medals when his team won the state meet. Over the years I've talked with other gymnast/diver arbos. It is agreed that the body discipline has made climbing easier. Brute force and strength has its place but finesse and 'the dance' will go further.
In '78 I had just gotten out of tech college and was doing arbo work and landscaping. I started Canopy Tree in Feb. of '79.
