I nominate my guy Nate for the best groundman! Black or white!

He would climb if I would let him. He spent a lifetime in the Army jumping out of airplanes and Helicopters (as well as two trips to Iraq and one to Afghanistan) so I don't think it would take him too long to catch on.

Working in the South I have worked with many black groundsmen and more than a few black climbers. I see no difference in any other climber. A good man is a good man and anyone you can trust your lifeline with is a good man.

I think part of the problem with race relations in this country is that people are afraid to talk about it, as if it were taboo.

Was the original post a little ignorant? Maybe but not malice. How are you supposed to correct the problem unless people are willing to talk about it instead of admonish someone as if their $#!+ don't stink???

Prob is most vanilla is afraid of chcolate, it is seen more so in the north than south.

Too cold for them up thar Jim. They only like warm climtes, most tend to flock by big cites also.
