I have to admit that we jumped at the chance to train these students to climb trees in the name of science. Two in wheelchairs; six of all sizes plus two Ph.d's all eager and able to climb.

What groups/organizations are there for helping the handicapped climb trees?
How would one get involved in doing this?
Thank God I am not in a wheel chair but if I was I could see how it can be done quite well. Rolling up with my big shot to set a line, setting a doubled line, adding a pulley to make a compound pulley system with a 6:1 mechanical advantage or even SRT and a z-rig for a 3:1 and climbing just using upper body strength. Even moving from limb to limb with a v-rig or m-rig etc. I may try a climb without using any leg to see what this would be like.
Any thoughts or guidance in helping others enjoy the canopy would be appreciated.
