I'd kinda maybe say the same for my velocity..but other than that. That would surprise me. I don't remember if blue streak is 16 or 12 idk

bluestreak is 16 strand, the wear might be because I weigh less than most people, so im putting less stress and friction on my ropes
 
from what ive found, its all personal preference, what works for one person might not work for the second, and so on
 
Could be also if your not blazing out of the tree that saves friction. Idk but I'd recommend 16 strand for natural crotch ddrt not 12 or 24 or 32

was on the wespur site yesterday, saw some cool stuff called "R.I.N.G" (Red is no go)

core, jacket layer one (Red) and jacket two (Actual outside jacket) so inspection it super easy, look for melting, burning, and dis coloration, if its cut youll see the red sticking out

Yup I know what your talking about..almost got there lanyard of that. Safety blue is the same thing. White with a blue core. Top of my list
 
tell ya what, you dont know nice till your lanyard is spliced on one end, awesome for using a frictionsaver on it around a spar (Like a treesqueaze)

super happy I decided to learn splicing, ive done velocity, vortex, amsteel, tenex-tec and all sorts of 3 strand

Really? Cool. That's one thing I want to learn. Could have save me alot of money if I could do my own splices. You had them break tested right? Can you show me what you mean with your lanyard? Kinda blanking

the frictionsaver is a ring and ring adjustable one, the lanyard hasnt been break tested, although I probably should

its done by the book for a class one tight eye, id trust it no problem considering how long the burry is (Cover inside core, cord inside cover) and its lock stitched, it isnt going anywhere, although im not going to let anyone else use it (For liability reasons)

I like that setup, although I prefer SRT choked around the spar, very handy when ya need it tho
