What would you do?? *DELETED* *DELETED*

Re: What would you do??

I was injured on a jobsite working for lyon and son. I wasnt paying attention and an illegal mexican operating the crane smashed the ball of the crane into my foot. My foot swelled up and I couldn't bear weight on it. That night I went to the ER for xrays and they came back negative. It was just a bad bone bruise. Cameron said I either had to pay the hospital bill out of pocket or give up my Christmas bonus. As he says later in this post, yes I did hit a fence and left the scene of the accident. I later apologized to the police and was let go free of all charges. As far as work, I gave 100% effort everyday. I never called out and hardly took ANY time off unless the entire company was off.

Again, its a BONUS. Given for working safely, performance, production. You failed at all three of these. Dude this happened over THREE years ago! Do I need to post the letter of termination to set the record straight?

I leave the jobsite for ten minutes to go down the street to do an estimate and have to come back to this. You should have been paying attention, no doubt..Its part of you JOB!. Another reason you were let go cause this was a constant problem an I thought you would end up hurting yourself or one of your co-workers seriously.

I watched you get into the chip truck that day and bear all your weight on the one foot. Right there I knew it wasn't broken but you insisted it was so I said go have it checked out. Again, 3 years later your bitter, and this is the first I'm hearing about it?

Not the place to air dirty laundry.

I'm sure we all remember, "Let him with no sin cast the first stone"...

Oh and there's never two sides to every story. There's three, the third being the truth found somewhere between the other two.

It was more like 80%. Talking on the phone, messing around, always telling the other guys "not my Job" if there was some brush to drag. We still joke around here when the going gets tough and we all say "not my job" in light of your saying. Makes for some good laughs

I can't agree with your more. I hate being caught up in this, don't need any trying to trash my name. Again, I wasn't gonna comment knowing it may just burn him up. So I am just as much at fault at this here.

Okay I will be the dick out of the group then. Hey Arbor23 why don't you reach down between your legs and remove your head from between your cheeks and go away. Right now you are adding nothing to this forum. The past is the past, you can't change it. Grow a pair and move on like a real man.

Re: What would you do??

I am sure that Cameron is not a PERFECT employer, but this character assasination is bordering on criminal. This whole thread should be deleted IMO.

I agree and disagree. There is something to learn here for owners. You never know how an ex-employee will act. I may think next time to have a new employee sign a no compete clause or something more to protect me from someone trying to take former clents that I've worked hard for.

Yes it is not cool to air out dirty laundry in public. Again I apologize to my fellow buzzers for getting caught up in it.

"I was injured on a jobsite working for lyon and son. I wasnt paying attention..."

This pretty much sums it up. Even the revised post had the damning truth! They say confession is good for the soul. :)

I've been injured--not just bruised--too many times to count. I never ran to someone else to pay the bills, but when help came I was grateful. Blaming others for your own foulup is exceedingly lame.
As was the ER visit for a bruise that was due to carelessness. Illegal blabla that is just groping for an alibi.

Move on--more carefully!
