I said 1 1/2 hrs, 4 brush picks and 1 or 2 log picks. Catalpa is very light take big pieces. This thing would be a piece of cake. We routinely do these trees in 1 to 2 hrs depending on landing zone. If it was a street tree and had the street shut down I might take that whole top in one piece (small might, depends on reality vs picture and if I'm showin off to anybody)
I agree piece of cake tree. Not even questioning how easy it would be with a crane. 4 to 6 picks would be way conservative I was thrown off by the 4 guys@400/hr. In the estimate you gave at $1200 that would only allow for 1 hour. 1.5 hours would be 4 guys @ $600 changing the final cost to $1400. Maybe I am misreading what you wrote. Either way 1 guy for 2days or 5 guys and a crane for 1.5 hr gets you to the same cost pretty much. Just proves what I think , its not the time spent but the service that's provided.
The post of mine u quoted says 4 guys @400 = 600 plus crane plus disposal...
Ok I get it, I misunderstood what you wrote my bad. I thought you meant the 600 was for you the owner that's where I got 5 guys total. Still we agree pretty close on what tree is worth.
