What Hitch Is This?

Sterling had some cool new arb stuff out. Great bunch of people there. Ed was doing all kinds of demos.

Anyway, the rope was cool. It looked static, but it has a soft feel and seems like it'd make a good line. The thing that I don't like is it can't be spliced. I don't like the stitching stuff, no where near as sexy as a well done splice. Other than that, it all looks good and Ed was a big supporter of it all.

Yeah Ranger, Ed was demonstrating a lot of the Sterling lines at the EXPO. I asked him about that particular hitch that I had questioned about and which is shown in the picture.

He knew right away what it was, because that is him in the picture. He said that it is a standard Michoacan that just looks deformed due to it being pulled down and set in the picture
