I'd bet $$ he ain't from here.

Anyway, who's taking nutrition advice from a potsmoker???

Nah, he is full of opinions, short on info......maybe it is the lack of corn syrup.....

Ropeburn does have some good ideas re nutrition. Maybe he could be our website nutritionist?

Ropeburn, whats with the De Niro sneer?

Stick around bro as anyone who irritates MB is always good to have around even if its just for a short time.

Easy P,

Can't you just carry out a psychological profile from his writing style?

There are some great sites re syntax etc that enable you to do a comprehensive character analysis from someone's writings.

I did one for MB and he's a certified looney for sure.

It's amazing how you can't keep my name outta your mouth.

Say my name, say my name.

Then STFU, son.

Here is another vote for PB and J (most every day for the past 7 years).
I like knowing that I get fiber and complex carbohydrates in my sprouted whole wheat bread. I like the antioxidants and additional fiber from my blueberry preserves. I also like the complete protein, omega-6 fatty acids, and other unsaturated fats I get from the peanut butter. It also tastes really good, which uplifts my spirits. I have a side of some non-fat yogurt with frozen raspberries because of its pro-biotic components (in addition to more protein, fiber, and antioxidants). Then I eat a big zip lock bag of some fresh and organic produce (usually mesclun salad, carrots, sprouts, and cherry tomatoes). Next, I eat my hard boiled egg for more complete protein. Then, if time allows, I have a few hand fulls of dried fruit (prunes, figs, cranberries, raisins, and blueberries) and nuts (cashews, almonds, walnuts, pine nuts).
I get it all (even the deadly PB and J) at my food coop in Brooklyn.
In spite of the toxic PB and J, I always seem to stay in the top 10 for the New York State Tree Climbing Championship, sometimes I even win an event or two. Maybe that is because I don't smoke. I like to think it is because of that tasty sandwich I look forward to every day.

One of the snacks I keep in the truck is a jar of extra crunchy Jiff. It's great for a quick fix. I'll skip the jelly, but good 'ole PB rawks!!!

Armchair psychological profiling is for the birds.

I just wanted to hear more about him and how many great things he has done.

I'm not a player, I'm a fan.

Vermont Woman...welcome! Good to have you un-lurked.

Ropeburn...knock off the sideways jabs at people. You know that it only leads to bickering. If you want to bicker, send someone an email or PM. If it isn't about the thread think about using your back key and delete it.

My lunch pail varies according to the work. Harder work=more complex calories. Sitting at the desk or behind the wheel=snack and skip lunch. Kinda like Sohner.

When I pack a lunch I like to have tortillas, bagels or flatbread. then the raw materials are loaded into containers. At lunch time I make up the sandwich according to my taste at lunch. PBJ or some nut stuff, can't stand grape jelly, low sugar. Maybe some chicken sausages, ham, stinky cheese. And there has to be some salsa, Chalula or Tabasco for the fire! Vanilla yogurt with a dollop of jelly. Couple of pieces of fruit.

Staying hydrated is as important as burning fuel. Could be the last of the coffee or some sort of juice. Ice tea at the right time of year.

Today's lunch? Snack because I'm not 'working' The bowl of oatmeal with cranberries did me up for now. Supper will be out tonight---probably grilled chicken. then off to see Robert Earl Keen at Billy Bob;s in Fort Worth. May have to treat myself to a Shiner Bock...oh, different thread

Dude, if you knew anything about serious climbers, I'm talking about the guys that live in Yosemite 4 months, the Alaska range 4 months and then work 4 months, and then do it all over again... you'd know they live on peanut butter.

Big talk is a sure sign of insecurity. I doubt you've ever done grade V or even gone 10 pitches of 5.9.

Some of the best tree climbers on the planet are on this forum... damn good rock climbers too. If you want to participate here, pack the condescending attitude and self hype... maybe you'll learn some things.
