Went for a brisk swing in the snow today

Trying to acclimate myself this winter before it gets too brutal outside, 20f today but Wisconsin will get much colder by January. Overall I am happy with how my equipment did. Even gunked up with snow, my quick step never missed a beat. The SAKA mini had no issues. I did have a little trouble getting the hitch on my HHX to grab, I think the cord was just cold, a couple extra wraps and it held just fine. Anyhow swung and climbed for a half hour waiting for a school bus, it was sublime. Climb safe!

It was crispy out, i was surprised that I had to go 6 wraps under and 2 over to keep from slipping, but I am new to hitches in the winter, still learning. This is a good chance to try some new hitches and give the beeline a test run as well.

Nice video, thanks for sharing it. I've watched a lot of your videos but didn't make the connection here until you did.
I like your videos, coming from one corny dad to another.

Awesome video indeed. Climbing on a hitch in winter is a terrifying idea for me. Glad there are so many climbers on here who want to test the reliability of them so that I dont have to :)
