We watch the fastest car, the smartest kid, strongest man etc. in wonder of their superiour strengths and strategies. Trees take several top honors, and seem to be very Nature wise at that orchestration; aspecially in regions it is superior to all else, like any thing else we see and wonder at. Let alone, being so superior in strategy, to become the largest, tallest, heaviest, stiffest, longest living etc. for many milleniums.
Like, especially anything else claiming top category honors, the strategies must be superiour and in accordance with Nature. We should try not to alter the most essential categories and strategies, especially in compounding effects in a list of operations/service.
One of these strategies is how, because of it's massive side, trees can store more resources than other plants, so then can also use straving other thngs out in competition, to also make itself better, for it can wait and depend on it's stores some what. Over watering, like other spoilings can make a tree lazy in it's support efforts, if not cause fungis; also feed others in it's territory under canopy with nutrients met for the tree, but now dissolved in water feeding other plants.
