For a short on the subject it is well done, beautifully filmed and edited. I'm not sure how it missed the boat.

Absolutely. I don't think it was intended, given the length, to be comprehensive. More of a sampler to entice the viewer to want more.

Not sure who the intended audience is but as it stands it does inspire.

My opening would be a chubby curly haired kid running from bullies escaping into a tree.

Ending with a mosquito bitten shaved head arm deep in a prickly Spruce removing girdling roots and ties.

Yeah, it was more of a personal story about him. At first I wasn't thrilled with his climbing style with "older" and "used" saddle and ropes. But not all arborists are created equal right. He was safe, used good pruning, and promoted the job well. What more could you ask for?
I shared the crap out of it.

I liked it. Message is tough guys climb trees. lol I also like the situation. Tree in the middle of the field nothing but time and return to the shop for a some reading in a good book.

i would like to see more videos like this, highlighting the passion arborists display for their work. Making a documentary that is international in scope would be a cool project.
