verticillium wilt

I treated some sugar maples back in 2011 during this post with the Mauget Trunk Injections and pruning infected branches. I moved a year later and didn’t have a chance to revisit. I don’t think I’ve done any treatments for verticillium wilt since. Probably just stick with cultural treatments these days but I don’t know? I think what I concluded back then was Mauget was the only product that had verticillium wilt on the label? Maybe that’s changed.

This is from the Mauget book. I haven’t used these capsules in years.

I don’t think there’s any data anywhere that supports treatment of VW.

As far as seridium canker and potassium phosphate fungicide treatment like agrifos Id lean more toward soil treatment than bark. But take the time to determine how much you will use (probably a lot more than you think).

For the latter I’d experiment with PGRs over anything else.
