Used chipper

hey guys,

In the market for a used reconditioned chipper. 25 grand or less. Found a company called landmark machinery out in michigan that has a bunch of reconditioned morbarks and bandits for sale. any one ever bought from these guys? Its my first chipper purchase and would appreciate any advice.

25,000 seems to be a good amount of money to buy your first chipper. Remember...new paint and stickers doesn't cost very much in the broad spectrum. Hours and maintenance records talk. Also, I would look up BBB records of the company selling. I almost made the mistake of purchasing a reconditioned truck from a company until digging deep to find negative customer experiences with the company. Ever thought of buying a used trade in from a dealer?

Thanks for this...what are bbb records? you mean do some online review research of the place? yea, theres a dealer in my area im familiar with that i will definitely be checking out. thanks again.

My 200xp has well over 3000 hrs on it. Maintenance is key! If the owner doesn't have records or it doesn't look excellent, then question it. Decent deal IMHO.

yea....been eye ballin it..lot of hours though on it...no?
Nah,...

For your first machine it is just what you need. 2500 is not a ton of hours. With maintenance they will go to 5k. By that point you will have made a lot of dough with it.

11K is pretty cheap.

I just really like 250xps
