Clarification--your poll asks how much for monthly membership for video content; your post says new TV content & videos.

Are you talking of adding NEW content--or paying for what is already shared at no expense on the forum?

Sorry. Actually discussing developing all new content that will only be viewable here and with a membership simply for that purpose. The membership would pay for creating this content. I'm just testing the water to see if there's interest.

Gotcha.

I am a woodworker and subscribe to Fine Woodworking Online (Taunton Press); great content, editing, world class photography & video from the top professionals in the field.

I believe I pay $24.95 per year for that subscription. Worth every penny. Not sure how large their subscription is, but I believe it is fairly extensive. JM2cents

I'm assuming when this deal goes down, the monthly fee will be waived for me.

I am so well loved by the Buzz, it would be a detriment to the site not to have me commenting on the "new video content".

We're all grandfathered in, right Mark?:envidioso

If the content was really good or provided ceu's I might pay $20 a year. But it would have to be damn good content. I think there are probably better ways to make money off this site.

I think $10/month if there were circus midgets in some of the videos and a coupon for a nice eggs and waffles breakfast.

Some videos of products that weren't 12 seconds of repeating the exact, word for word (and highly inadequate) product description from the OEM would be nice. Perhaps showing them in typical setups... whether it works with the setup or not... because, well, the OEM propaganda and stuff from the online retailers is never going to demo a product in any configuration that doesn't show the product working flawlessly. They would never, for example, show an ascender on ten different ropes without editing out the ones for which the product performed badly.
