As I had said before, three weeks ago now' some lowlife stole all my climbing gear out of my truck while it was parked at my home. My insurance has covered a good portion and theLuke, Nick and company at TreeStuff have come through as usual and the big box arrived today. This evening as I was setting up the saddle, things were going well up to the point when I went to try it on, only to discover the ddle was his labeled. The tag says it is an XL but in reality it is a medium. No fault of TreeStuff at all, but the manufacturers screwup. Oh the disappointment, like a kid who is wanting a bike for Christmas and gets a scooter.

I am mostly a lurker on the buzz, but I'll chime in and say Treestuff has been very quick to provide service that I felt went above and beyond what is expected. Not only did they match a discount I receive through my employer at sherrill, but they quickly responded when I let them know I had received the wrong spikes connected to a set of distels I bought. They immediately sent out the long gaffs I had ordered, and generously let me keep the short ones they had sent.

Unbeatable!

Been buying from Treestuff for a while because of their outstanding service. No doubt they will make things right and as I said, the item was mislabeled by the manufacturer.

I live in Sweden yet I still use(d) to buy gear from treestuff becausethey have everything and at a great price.
Also, the used to have reasonable shipping rates to Sweden/Europe.

On my last order (january 2015) something had changed. Suddenly the order was shipped with UPS. This caused me several headaches:
1. Much more expensive. Shipping of an order which, a few months earlier, used to cost $30 now cost $50.
2. Delivery was a pain. They only deliver in daytime, when I'm at work.
3. Customs. Shipments via USPS usually slip through customs. UPS packages never slip through and always requires me to pay customs.

This is too bad because in every other way treestuff is great.

:(

I've never had TreeStuff send me anything UPS. They're default has always been FedEx, although most of the time I request they use the USPS because of the fees and customs the courier services charge. I've only had one package ever sent by UPS (from ebay) and I refuse to use then again after they charged me $50 for a parcel only worth $100.

A single can of Treeseal was backordered a few months ago. When it never came I just figured it slipped through the cracks and I wrote it off. Then a couple of days ago it shows up. Probably more postage on it than the item cost. Also freebies in the box totaling more than the item.

My wife and I both wish TreeStuff would teach all the other companies we do business with in life how to treat their customers. Thanks for making it fun to do business with you TS.

Big ups to Justin from Treestuff. Recived another order from Treestuff today and 2 of the DMM revolver karabiners and a shirt where not in the box. Unlike Treestuff to make a mistake with a order but we are only human! Also weird there was clear tape over the green Treestuff tape. I called and talk to Justin and he took care of it like a boss! thank you again. Treestuff ROCKS!

Recently ordered an ISC Pro ascender. Received the wrong model number due to a mix up with ISC, TreeStuff stepped up and is sending me the correct model and told me to keep both ascenders. Great company and amazing customer service, they have secured a customer for life.

Noticed on Facebook yesterday that it was a free table day if you ordered by 5 pm. Placed an order at 330 yesterday, arrived on my doorstep at 930 this morning! Got a free Sterling ring sling, Buckingham rope bag, and a Jambo buff. Awesome!

I keep trying to give the other guys some business... but...

Many times I'm ordering less than a C-note of goodies, something I need to finish up a new climbing setup, something I forgot to get on the last order, etc. and the checkout codes let me get free shipping on these small orders. Nobody else does that (at least among the arborist sites) and I just don't see prices anywhere else that are good enough to offset that. Wanted to order two carabiners from one of the other guys, and it would have cost me the price of one carabiner just to get it shipped to me. So, I ordered three carabiners from TreeStuff and paid no shipping.

If ya' want to play with the big boys, ya' gotta bring something better to the table. The big boy on the block is TreeStuff these days, and nobody else seems to get it.

Have been wanting to post a follow-up on this comment. After the first saddle was mis sized, TreeStuff sent another one that was also mis sized by the mfg. After several emails and calls, Luke and staff continued to press the mfg to correct the problem. TreeStuff again comes through with flying colors and then some.to the max. A LOT of other companies need to take a customer service lesson from these guys. Thanks again Luke and staff!!

I just had our family vehicle into the dealer for some work...there was a recall and some other issues. I have to say the whole ordeal just made me feel like they were trying to take advantage of me at every turn. I felt like they were out to squeeze every dollar out of me. If they gave me an estimate and claimed that they just rounded up just to be safe...guess what, it always ends up at the highest number they give me. Rounding up huh. I should of asked them to round down and see what that got me. Anyway the whole point of this is that I felt like the dealer was in it for themselves and they were not trying to help me in any way.

I have to say I am even more amazed at the caliber of service Treestuff provides and it is just unparalleled. I am grateful for their ability to make their customers feel like VIPs, like Treestuff would jump through hoops to get their customers what they need. The extra gifts make you feel awesome, but it's the people behind the gift that are awesome. They give up that money that would go into their own pockets to help alleviate the strain of the many costs that are weighing on us in the tree business. They do so much for us. I always am left with a great feeling when I do business with TreeStuff! @TreeStuff - Thank you Luke and Erin and all the great people that make Treestuff possible. So in contrast, a company that is trying to help me in every way rather than doing everything for themselves.
