TreeStuff and SherrillTree Join Forces

Got the email and cleared it with the bosses (home and work). Looking forward to seeing their operation and meeting more Buzzers.
Likewise I checked with my boss, oh wait that's me! Between this and the tree expo I'm going to have a few easy weeks! Be good to meet some of you guys I haven't met and see what Tripp and the gang have in store for us!

I have to say while I'm not an inventor, innovator, top shelf climber or rigger, I feel pretty empowered to be a part of a group that just might be able to make a difference in this aspect of our industry. Being involved in the industry to me, is more than posting and just doing tree work. Unfortunately the lack of a progressive and professional tree market leaves me little room to be involved in industry changes and progressiveness. My hope is to make an impact to the market where consumers can have more choice, more availability, and improved customer service when they are shopping for the tools of their trade. Most will stay true to the vendor of their choice as I likely will be, but if we can break down some barriers maybe the choices will be better and the satisfaction of the purchasing process can be more than just an electronic exchange of numbers. This is more than a beer drinking chance to meet some buzzers. This is a chance to be heard.

If there are folks out there who can't make it and have constructive input or questions let one of us know and we can address those at the meeting. I am willing to be the scribe and take notes to repost a summary here.
