Bummer...I spend a week gathering pictures just for this silly game and nobody wants to play any more. That is OK, because I still got to go here

The first one is a genus we'd recognize here. From there only one species in the Grand Canyon fits (there are other species in the genus growing there, but they don't look as much like ours as this one).

I did see some redbud there. Looks almost exactly like C. canadensis. Had to look that one up...

There was quite a bit of cottonwood too (well, quite a bit for a desert - where there were trees, there was cottonwood). That pic was from Indian Garden.
