i think so...to be honest i couldn't tell if it was that or P. orientalis (i usually go by the leaf sinuses and had trouble counting fruit clusters) looked like an old pollard that was "let go" 50 yrs ago. another view from the other side

How did you get that one so easily Tom? I knew it because there was a d@mn sign on it! It's not a tree I've ever seen before. Perhaps its common out east.

OK This one may be easy too..need it to species. Genus may be easy.

I was pretty sure it was a Chestnut, and you did say you were in Europe... 2 + 2...

I will start the bidding on this one with Fraxinus excelsior.

I guess it is a pretty distinctive tree. Never seen one where I live though.

Hee hee... I cheated, using my LazerXZoom telescopic vision software. I got it from an ad in a comic book when I was a kid.
