Trees from a distance

I would love to have that tree for fire wood. I know, not PC , but osage has one of the highest BTU ratings. Good wood to heat with.

All the pictures I have of trees are on film. My wife has a digital camera but I couldn't tell you how to transfer the images. I didn't own a computer until 5 years ago. Only really use it for TB and email. I'll see what I can do about getting some pictures.

Darn, i knew the leaf color would give it away. Will got it.

Fast and furious, here's another. I've got a few tfad credits saved up anyways.

Not even remotely. Says its actually native to north western US and Canada. I've only seen them planted here, and rarely at that.

There's a row of them behind this one, all planted for certain.

Awww! You posted just for me didn't you?

We don't have black cottonwood here but close enough. Kind of struck me while I was goofing off that there are some more westerly poplars and sure enough...

I'll find something in a min. Probably be easy and I'll make sure really is what it is...
