...actually it's Laburnum, but don't tell!

Oh sorry starlet. Tom got it tho.
How about the little tree behind the Norway and the tree to the right of the pin oak you can barely see?

Somebody post a pic anytime

hemlock.

and Tom back there on MattyDs, that was even a Crimson King Norway Maple, you got the whole thing! ha! you're the king of trees from a distance.

Not hemlock. (At least according to Google Images... sorry! I didn't have anything new...)

Not much to work with here. The clue is the way it's growing - what else does this?

Rob, I'm going to say Norway spruce.

And X, the guess of Crimson King was based on a couple things. One is that they tend to have a slightly different, more diminutive crown shape than regular Norway maple, and two is that the tree looks like it was planted in the border along the driveway, and I don't see that many intentionally planted Norways.

Now watch Matt come back and say it was actually just a regular Norway maple! :)

I would think either X-Man or Tom were right, but apparently not. Anyway here is another photo of the same type of tree.

I've said it before but this time for certain. I'm not digging into Google Images anymore for that reason- who's labeling these photos?
