We sure did narrow it down

My Brother thinks it is from the Lauraceae family.


Mainly because the tiny, yellow flowers are five-petaled and bloom in the spring; they are dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate trees*.


And also because the picture is so crappy, it allows him to imagine he sees the flowers.

Okay, here I am back out-of-the-blue...

Nick's tree #4 photo: The leaves definitely look Pittosporum eugenioides. I've just never seen one so tall!
